Order and payment coordination software

CleenBP builds order and payment coordination software for businesses.

Our software helps a business present a payment step to its customer, keep track of the resulting order, and match incoming payments to the orders they belong to. We are a software vendor. We are not part of the payment itself.

What the software does

A business installs CleenBP alongside its existing systems. During checkout, our software presents the customer with the payment step the business has chosen to offer, and records the order that results.

As payments are received into the business's own bank account, our software associates each one with the order it belongs to and updates that order's status, so the business can fulfil against accurate records. Where a payment cannot be confidently matched, it is flagged for the business to resolve.

That is the entire function: presentation, record-keeping, and reconciliation. The software reports on money that has moved between two other parties. It does not move it.

What we do not do

CleenBP does not receive, hold, transmit, or take custody of funds at any point. Payments travel directly from a customer to the business they are buying from. Funds do not pass through CleenBP, we hold no balance belonging to any customer or any business, and we are not a party to any payment.

We are not a bank, a money transmitter, a money services business, a payment processor, or a merchant acquirer. We do not underwrite businesses, settle funds on their behalf, extend credit, hold reserves, or maintain any float. Where a payment method involves regulated activity, that activity is performed by the licensed institutions the customer and the business already bank with — not by us.

We are paid a flat software fee, billed to the business as a subscription. We take no percentage of any payment and derive no revenue from payment volume. Our commercial interest is in the software being useful, not in money moving.

How we work with businesses

A software licence, not a payment relationship
Businesses subscribe to the software. There is no merchant agreement, no settlement arrangement, and no account held with us.
The business keeps its own banking
Payments are received into the business's own account at its own bank. We have no access to that account and no authority over it.
Records belong to the business
Order and reconciliation records belong to the business using the software and are available to it at any time.
Deliberately narrow scope
We have kept the product to coordination and record-keeping. Extending it into handling funds would change what this company is, and we have chosen not to.
